Goat breading program
For widows, we buy goats. Over five years those goats multiply — feeding families, funding needs, and paying it forward to start the next widow's herd.
Blessed to Be a Blessing
Shekinah Helping Hands serves women and children in the drought‑stricken Zambezi Valley of Matabeleland North—specifically the Binga and Hwange districts, where crops often fail and families struggle to earn a living.
Through our “pass‑on” livestock program we place goats, pigs, and chickens directly into the hands of those who need them most. The animals provide immediate nutrition on the table and generate income for school fees, medical care, and the next planting season.
The goat initiative has become our most successful model. Today, thousands of goats circulate through the program, creating a ripple of prosperity.

Goats thrive where other livestock cannot. They withstand the heat, survive the dry season, require minimal care, and reproduce rapidly. One widow’s herd becomes the seed for another’s beginning—allowing the program to expand organically, family by family.

Global Development Group takes responsibility of the project according to AusAID rules providing a governance role and assisting in the areas of planning, monitoring, evaluating and auditing to ensure the projects are carried out to AusAID requirements.
